Painless Treatment
Painless treatment
Some stomatological operations may be more or less painful for patients. The threshold of pain perception is not the same in all patients. However, our doctors use means by which they can relieve the patient of pain and thus make the treatment more pleasant.
- In local anaesthesia it is possible not only to carry out all kinds of treatment painlessly (tooth extraction, apicectomy, implementation of dental implant, removal of bone cyst etc.), but also unpleasant or painful operations like, for example, treatment of deep or cervical caries, or teeth grinding before making a crown or a bridge.
- More serious surgical operations or more extensive dental treatments of adult patients can be carried out after a short-term overall anaesthesia (so-called analgosedation). In such cases we co-operate with an experienced anaesthesiologic team.
- For timid children or for those who are difficult to treat we carry out stomatological operations with the use of an overall anaesthesia.
